Sunset Converting Corp: Installation of selective and drive-in pallet racking
AGIR Installation carried out the assembly of storage systems for Sunset Converting Corp, a company specializing in tissue paper converting.
The project includes two complementary configurations: long rows of multi-level selective pallet racking and drive-in accumulation sections. The installation stands out for its blue metal frames, beams, and orange support rails, as well as its yellow guards.
The selective sections organize locations accessible from the aisles, while the drive-in sections group pallets in depth. This combination makes use of the building's height and fits out different storage zones within a single industrial environment.
The challengeIntegrating two storage configurations into an existing building
The mandate required coordinating the assembly of structures with different configurations and storage levels.
For the selective pallet racking, the challenge involved the consistency of the long rows and the positioning of the beams. For the drive-in sections, particular attention had to be paid to the alignment of the frames, consoles, and support rails within the lanes.
The installation also had to account for the building's columns and bracing, as well as goods stored nearby. The height of the structures posed an organizational challenge for handling components and accessing the upper parts during assembly.
The solutionAn assembly tailored to each storage zone
AGIR Installation carried out the assembly of the frames and connecting elements, then installed the components specific to each system.
In the selective sections, orange beams mark the different storage levels along the aisles. In the drive-in sections, the consoles support the rails on which the pallets are stored in depth.
The photos document several assembly stages, from the partially assembled structures to the rows fitted with their storage components. Aerial work platforms were used to access the upper parts.
Yellow guards complete the layout at the row ends and at the entrances to the accumulation lanes. The resulting installation combines the accessibility of the selective racking locations with the storage density of the drive-in sections.
This project showcases AGIR Installation's ability to assemble different storage systems and integrate them within a single industrial building.

What was delivered
- Multi-level selective pallet racking, including blue frames, orange beams, and metal connecting elements.
- Drive-in accumulation racking, including blue frames, consoles, and orange support rails arranged across three elevated levels.
- Barriers, guides, and yellow guards are present at the base of certain structures and at the lane entrances.
