Laferté: Installation of a mezzanine and storage systems for a renovation centre
AGIR Installation carried out the assembly of storage structures for Centre de rénovation Laferté, a company specializing in hardware and construction materials.
The project brings together three complementary configurations: a mezzanine integrated with the storage structures, wire-mesh shelving, and a long row of cantilever racking.
The mezzanine includes a metal floor, a staircase with a landing, and yellow guardrails. Tilt-up barriers are present at the loading openings, while black netting completes certain sections of the shelving.
The layout combines multi-level storage surfaces, walk-up access to the mezzanine, and cantilever arms intended for long materials. This project showcases AGIR Installation's versatility in assembling various systems within a single building.
The challengeCoordinating high-level storage and mezzanine access
The assembly had to ensure the proper integration of the shelving, the raised floor, and the staircase. The positioning of each assembly had to account for walkways, loading openings, and the building's structural elements.
The length of the rows required particular attention to upright alignment and level consistency. In the cantilever section, positioning the columns, bracing, and arms was another assembly challenge.
The work also included installing components at height. Organizing access and distributing parts on the ground were therefore central to the progress of the assembly.
The solutionA layout combining mezzanine, shelving, and cantilever racking
AGIR Installation carried out the assembly of the metal structures and installed the components specific to the different storage zones.
The mezzanine creates a surface accessible by a metal staircase with a landing. Its textured steel-plate floor is bordered by yellow guardrails, with tilt-up barriers at the openings intended for loading. The fixed-beam shelving holds wire mesh shelves spread across several levels. Nearby, the cantilever structures feature arms that provide a clear face for storing long materials.
The photos document the assembly of the structures, the use of aerial work platforms, and the bolted assembly of the cantilever components. Yellow guards are also visible at the base of several uprights and at the ends of certain rows.
The resulting installation organizes complementary storage spaces and makes use of the building's height. It illustrates AGIR Installation's expertise in integrating storage structures and elevated access.
